Diagnosing Error?

Is there a logfile for MailScanner somewhere?  I need to diagnose why
MailScanner isn't scanning incoming mail.  Nothing has changed about my
setup - the server had to be rebooted and I restarted MailScanner after the
reboot was complete.

When I start MailScanner, I get an 'ok' on everything, but when I do a
status afterwards I get:

[root MailScanner]# /etc/rc.d/init.d/MailScanner status
Checking MailScanner daemons:
         MailScanner:       ok
         incoming sendmail: ERROR!
         outgoing sendmail: ok

Sendmail is working fine, but MailScanner isn't scanning any mail.  I am
using a Cobalt RAQ4 (pity me).
