Parse Errors Continue

I already knew about this with other perl items and perl 5.8.0 and already
have had my LANG variable set to en_US (which also works, as long as it's
not the UTF-8 one). And this fixed a lot of other issues I was having with
perl and creating makefiles. Any other ideas?

There is a known issue with perl 5.8.1 on Redhat 9.0 producing mangled
output. A temporary fix is to set LANG=en_GB before compiling any perl
modules. See https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=87682 for
more details.

Regards,

Chris
