Upgrade strategy (help please)

That script just handles the upgrading of the MailScanner.conf script.
Your best bet is to stop MailScanner and the sendmail processes, then
upgrade. Set up the virus scanner first then work on everything else. That
way you get virus coverage even if something starts up while you are
sorting the rest of it. Don't forget that the check_MailScanner cron job
may start it up underneath you, so either setup the virus scanner first or
disable the cron job.
