Otherwise I would like to know

A) what patches need to be installed against p5-MIME-Tools-5.411a_2
B) wether or not these patches "harm" any other functionality.

Then the easiest (from my point of view) would be to either call the
port maintainer of the MIME-Tools or incorporate it in my MailScanner
port.
