You also have to remember that the 1,000 emails was a figure from 1998... I
read the press release after I replied to your message... so its been a
good 5 years... I'm sure they are seeing a LOT more than 1000 a day..

my main goal was to let FTC what a real problem spam really is. As we all
know Government lives in a sheltered world. I think if a few 100 of us start
forwarding spam to them as they request they might get a better idea what
spam problem is.

Are they doing anything more with them than classifying them and producing
brochures?
They're only getting 1,000 a day, we can soon change that.
