Syslog-ng + MailScanner

Hi,

Currently I'm using syslog-ng and MailScanner. Each time syslog-ng gets
HUP'ed MailScanner stops logging. It will continue logging after the
periodical restart. This can be solved by using the keep alive flag in
syslog-ng. Unfortunately the version I am currently running, syslog-ng
1.5.15 (debian/stable) hasn't got this feature.

I found a workaround in the code of 'spamd' (SA v2.55, spamd, Line 977).
