.bad files .....

ladies and Gents,
    I have an issue with mailscanner putting .bad files in
/var/Communigate/Submitted/
 
I have looked at most of MailScanner's code...... I dont see the point
where that is being added, so I am thinking its something else.
 
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
