Problem updating Sophos with MailScanner 3.26-2

I'm doing the regular updating of Sophos, and all goes well until the
Sophos.install
script tries to fetch the latest IDEs. Then it says


Fetching latest IDE virus identities from www.sophos.com
Lynx failed with error return 1
, Bad file descriptor at /usr/local/Sophos/bin/autoupdate line 83.

What am I doing wrong?
