F-Prot Lock file error

Debian package leaves setting up the cron job to the installer...
if you just drop it into cron.daily it'll run as root,

I'm just away to change my config to mail,
 as I had this happen to me with Mcafee a couple of time

Can someone tell the Debian people about this please? It's a packaging
problem.
