rav not scanning archives by default

is that defined somewhere else than in /usr/lib/MailScanner/rav-wrapper ?
As far as I can see, it simply runs ravlin8 w/o the archive option.
I sent a few test.com files infected with eicar, all got detected, but the
ones in a .zip pass through.
