Okay... apologies if this is a FAQ, but you can literally just (I'm running MS 4.11
from the RPM) download MS 4.12, and do 'rpm -Uvh new-version.rpm' ?

And as for SA, are people just downloading it, and doing the usual
'make... make install' routine without complaint?
