I think the overwhelming majority would suggest you use the tarball.  I
always do and I think Julian also suggests that you do based on the location
of perl module on different distributions.

On a redhat server, is it better to use the rpm from the spamassassin
website or build from the tarball, and if the tarball is better, should I
change the prefix or move anything around?
