Hi, Im new to this list.
And Im basicly having the same trouble others are having...
That is..
"Aug 20 23:23:47 ns1 MailScanner[97722]: Cannot parse
/var/spool/MailScanner/incoming/97722/h7KN06O5097399.header and ,
MIME::Parser: can't open tmpfile: Invalid argument"

I've tried this on 2 diffrent machine, one with postfix, the other with
sendmail.
Though both are FreeBSD 5.0

Here's the info about the machines and modules I used.

OS: FreeBSD 5.0

MailScanner 4.22-5

Modules:
IO Stringy 2.108
Convert TNEF 0.17
File Spec 0.85
File Temp 0.14
HTML Parser 3.26 on one machine and 3.30 on other
HTML Tagset 3.03
MIME Base64 2.20
MIME Tools 5.411 (tried with and without patches), and 5.411a
Mail Tools 1.59

The /var/spool/MailScanner and subdirs are owned by root.mail and
permission is drwxrwxr-x (just giving myself enough rights to test...)

Full output from maillog:
Aug 20 23:35:08 ns1 MailScanner[98054]: MailScanner E-Mail Virus Scanner
version 4.22-5 starting...
Aug 20 23:35:08 ns1 MailScanner[98054]: Using locktype = flock
Aug 20 23:35:08 ns1 MailScanner[98054]: New Batch: Found 2 messages
waiting Aug 20 23:35:08 ns1 MailScanner[98054]: New Batch: Scanning 1
messages, 778 bytes
Aug 20 23:35:08 ns1 MailScanner[98054]: Cannot parse
/var/spool/MailScanner/incoming/98054/h7KNVvO5097910.header and ,
MIME::Parser: can't open tmpfile: Invalid argument

Im not sure how its supposed to be, but in
/var/spool/MailScanner/incoming/[PID]/
there is 1 file and one directory...
namely:
file: h7KNVvO5097910.header
and dir: h7KNVvO5097910
however, the directory is empty..
(at both machines its the same, the incoming subdirs has bunch af header
files
with a directory with the same name as the header, but the directory is
empty).
So where is the body???

I did read through the mailinlist archive, found others that had same
problem, but nothing that helps me.

So if you have any idea what this might be, please let me know.
If you need any additional info, then its no problem.

Thanks in advance.
