Fwd: Exim 4.21 released

MailScanner users may want to look at the new version of Exim.
There are some new options that are of particular interest:

21. By default, the command line options -odi etc. override the setting of
queue_only in the configuration file. This is now controlled by the
queue_only_override option, which defaults true. If it is set false, the
-od options cannot be used to override queue_only or queue_only_file.

This option should be used in the two-config-file Exim setup.

27. The new option process_log_path sets the name of the file to which Exim
writes its "process log" when sent SIGUSR1. This is used by the exiwhat
utility script. If this option is unset, the file called exim-process.info
in Exim's spool directory is used. The ability to specify the name
explicitly can be useful in environments where two different Exims are
    running, using different spool directories.

This should be obviously useful for MailScanner users :-)

I'll send Julian a patch for the docs.

Subject: [Exim] Exim 4.21 released

I have put Exim 4.21 on the ftp site:

ftp://ftp.csx.cam.ac.uk/pub/software/email/exim/exim4/exim-4.21.tar.gz
ftp://ftp.csx.cam.ac.uk/pub/software/email/exim/exim4/exim-4.21.tar.bz2

eed92d34e02a5de1493d766fc92b0c94 exim-4.21.tar.gz
16b1290e4c289c7d70294ca447b0a3bc exim-4.21.tar.bz2

Although the version number has increase only by 0.01, there are quite a
lot of changes in this release[*]. For those who don't know the way Exim
version numbers work: the first decimal digit doesn't change until the
documentation is fully updated. For this release, the new features are
described in the doc/NewStuff file. All changes are listed in
doc/ChangeLog. You should also read README.UPDATING before updating.
