I'm planning on using ClamAV. The remaining should be caught by Symantec's
directly on my Exchange server.

Could you give me a short description of the other products? Spam isn't
really a big problem for us right now, but I set up a mail gateway to
enhance the security (instead of having M$ Exchange connected directly to
the internet.

I'd still use SpamAssassin and a supported antivirus product! As others
have said, adding Razor, DCC, Pyzor to the mix certainly help

If I only want to identify spam based on origin, I guess I'm ok with
MailScanner only?

Thanks
