Exim+Mailscanner duplicate message scans

Hello, Im running Exim+Mailscanner and my current configuration works great but i am a little confused about the scanning messages in /var/log/maillog.

When a msg comes it i see duplicate msgs in maillog. Either its being scanned twice or Mailscanner is recording it as being scanned twice;

Also, if you look at the msg above you will see 2 msgs in NEW BATCH but it says only 1 is being scanned? I dont understand this. Does that mean only one msg was scanned and why the duplicates? Is that just the way it works with Exim?
