Actually you can do both, you just can't see the link to do so by
default.

Click on the 'appearance' link at the bottom of the page and select
'show' for 'expert editing commands'.  You'll then have more editing
options than you can shake a stick at (it looks awful though, which is
probably why its off by default).  I can (and have) edited my entries
without trouble.
