Ok that error seems to have disappeared though why I don't know now I
get

Oct 22 09:31:04 localhost MailScanner[14192]: New Batch: Scanning 1
messages, 651 bytes
Oct 22 09:31:04 localhost MailScanner[14192]: Spam Checks: Starting

Oct 22 09:31:05 localhost MailScanner[14192]: Uninfected: Delivered 1

Which seems to tell me that it is all working ok except I can't see
where on earth it has delivered the message to it certainly isn't in the
account. It would suggest to me that something is failing between
mailscanner checking it and it arriving at the users account but I'm not
sure what.

here is a short process list does this look right?

root 14130 0.0 5.6 8512 7276 ? S 17:26 0:00 perl

root 14368 0.0 0.9 2544 1272 ? S 17:29 0:00 sendmail:

root 14371 0.0 1.0 2580 1292 ? S 17:29 0:00
/usr/sbin/sendmail -q15m

Anyway its getting late as I've had little sleep doing customers work
late last night maybe this is better looked at again in the morning,
unless someone has a simple brainwave patch I can apply now :-)
