We're running MailScanner 3.22-12 on our external email gateways and it
works well for incoming messages.
I have the following options set:
Deliver To Recipients = yes
Deliver From Local Domains = yes
Notify Senders = yes
Action = keep
Deliver Disinfected Files = yes
However if an outgoing message was disinfected I would prefer to send a
different viruswarning.txt message to the recipient which does not
include references to 'If you wish to receive a copy of the *infected*
attachment..' and 'Note to Postmaster:Look on systemxxxx:/path_to
quarantine dir'. It should just say something like:
************
The original e-mail attachment "dummy.jas"
was believed to be infected by a virus and has been replaced by this
warning
message.
At Wed Oct 2 10:29:59 2002 the virus scanner said:
/17wfpM-0000wr-00/dummy.jas Found the Exploit-MIME.gen.exe
virus !!!
***********
Is this possible?
Thanks
Anjana
