These stray df files are nothing to worry about. They are caused by
attempts to receive a message from another system, and the attempt failed
for some reason (usually it timed out, or there was a temporary router
failure on the path, or something like that).

If you use the sendmail-starting script that www.sendmail.org provides (I
think that's where I got it), then these get deleted/renamed before
sendmail is actually started, so they don't cause any stray problems.

Any aged df files in your mqueue.in, without corresponding qf files, can be
deleted safely.

These are all really sendmail problems, nothing to do with MailScanner, so
they're a bit off-topic really...
