False positive - SA 2.30

Please try applying the attached patch to sendmail.pl and see if it solves
the problem. Something really subtle is going wrong, it looks as if 1 "if"
statement is not behaving as expected in the SA code, so I've rewritten my
end of it a bit.

Please let me know if this fixes the problem. If so, I'll roll it into a
"-4" release.
