problems running auto-update....

Hi - when I run autoupdate (and the latest version of Sophos.autoupdate)
- I get the following error...

[root at localhost bin]# ./autoupdate
Could not calculate Sophos version number, Bad file descriptor at
./autoupdate line 77.


Any suggestions?
