Solaris Syslog

Has anyone applied that beast of Solaris patches?  After applying to my
test system, I've discovered that Mailscanner isn't logging anymore.  I
check syslogd on my test box against the syslogd on the production box
and it is now newer.  It logs sendmail info, but not mailscanner.  If I
replace it with the old version then it works again.  The new version is
1.90 and the old one is 1.89.  Did this happen to anyone else?  Is there
a better fix other than rolling back?
