extreamly long delays -- 3.22

I have installed 3.22, just to see if I might get any different
results.  I got the same thing.  I un-commented "skip_rbl_checks 1" in
the spam.assassin.prefs.conf file, and commented out all RBL lines in
the mailscanner.conf file.   I got the same thing.

As of right now, it's been over 10 minutes since a "Scanning" message
was logged.

So in other words, nothing has changed.

Any other idea's on where I should look or things I should try?
