Fair point. Is it feasible to educate them along the lines of "If you do
learn how to do this, your .reg files will get through. If you don't, they
won't." Maybe I'm over optimistic but I think I've managed to educate some
people here.

I gave up on the double extension thing ages ago and rely on looking for
the bad final ones. IMHO, the double extension is only a threat if the last
one is bad...
