A serious security bug in Microsoft Outlook Express has come to my
attention. You can read about the bug at

but basically it allows a malicious user to embed a file attachment in the
headers of a message.

I have just released MailScanner version 3.11-1 which addresses this
problem, and lets MailScanner scan for attachments embedded in the headers
in this way.

Sites that use Microsoft Outlook Express a lot may well want to upgrade to
this version.
