That gives much better control to stop/start parts of mailscanner/sendmail
without customers noticing.

I have added "startin" and "startout" options to both the RedHat and SuSE
init.d scripts. So now you can switch MailScanner off, restart the incoming
sendmail so none of your customers notice, and play with your MailScanner
config at ease without them noticing.
