In which case I think the building or installation of the MIME-tools
package failed.
If you do
rpmbuild --rebuild perl-MIME-tools*rpm
what output does it produce? There will be quite a bit of it.
Can you then do
rpm -Uvh /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/noarch/perl-MIME-tools*noarch.rpm
successfully?
