error in installing mailscanner

Hi guys,

        Im having an error installing the mailscanner, it seems that it just loops
around I got this message when i first run the ./install.sh command;

Your copy of the Perl module ExtUtils::MakeMaker is out of date.
If you try to use an old one, it will generate bad code for the
rest of this, and possibly make a mess of your Perl installation.

Please install a new one. You can do this very easily with the
command:
        ./Update-MakeMaker.sh
and then come back and run this install.sh script again.

        then when i tried to run ./Update-MakeMaker.sh i got this message;

==> Your Makefile has been rebuilt. <==
==> Please rerun the make command.  <==
false
make: *** [Makefile] Error 1
Done. Please now run ./install.sh again.
