Cost of Virus Scanner!

I'm actually in Toronto, Canada. Using today's exchange rates 99 sterling
is $229.34 Cdn and $750 USD is a mere $1197.08 Cdn. How can there be that
big a difference for the same product?

I don't mind paying for a good product but $1200 is ridiculous for a home
user.
