I have just released another beta.
I have updated a whole load of the required Perl modules, and have added 
a command-line option
    --nomodules
which will stop it installing the required Perl modules, should you wish 
to do that.

I have also fixed a whole bunch of bugs in the installer, so it 
shouldn't overwrite modules with older ones, which was happening in a 
few cases.
