The first thing I do before an install is comment out the section of
the install script that does "Rebuilding all the Perl modules...",
down to the EOF statement.  I don't want Julian's script messing with
my perl modules, because I nearly always have later releases of
modules he uses.  I suppose this could be made an option in the
install script.
