it sat there for a bit...   happens on 4.58.6
I see one thing tho, it restarts the process, I just restarted the entire 
thing so no way it should expire a process this soon.

This is latest beta as well.... this is a slackware 11 box with sendmail 
8.14 beta, rolling back to 8.13.8  still the same....


tried a plain msg with no deliberate script/spam/whatever etc and same 
thing... process restarts and queues mail... until i sendmail -q


rolled back to MailScanner-4.58.5 and it works OK....
does not restart and sends mail right away.

Jules can you take a look at this, whatever you did to fix exim mighta 
broke sendmail :)
