Postmix guy is probably only doing it to make it harder for the likes of 
MailScanner to work with it, surely it doesnt need it, I mean if so many 
ppl spam postmix is so great, it must work good now, why change things.

He wants you to use *his* preferred packages, afterall is there not a 
similar program (no i wont give the guy any advertising by naming his 
product here but you know who he is) author that frequents the postmix 
lists and is tight with Wietse, most of the world is not blind :)

Not many of them round here young fella ;)
Happily useing sendmail and even the ancient no longer supported qmail 
without a single hiccup ;) its why i have time to waste on lists and 
newsgroups laughing at postmix users hehehe.
